looking for a shifter boot cover

My maintenance manual says, "1996 Hummers built after VIN 172180 employ a "shifter boot cover" to protect the shifter boot and linkage."

So this is a boot that protects the boot that protects the linkages?

My truck was built before that VIN and I've only ever had the shifter boot.

Do you have a shifter boot cover in good shape that you'd like to part with?
