I just replaced the burnt out bulb with an LED. I transferred the green cover from the old bulb. The LED is quite a bit brighter than the bulb it replaced. I have a Duramax so this never read correctly, but it still works. RPMs follow engine speed, they just weren't correct. The light was replaced without cutting the body.
I was going to gut this and use the body for something else but seeing as these are discontinued I figured I'd see if anyone wants it first.
