1996 H1 2 door with lots of upgrades

This 2 door H1 Hummer was the personal vehicle of Terry and Lynn McClanahan who were the owners of American Outfitters. American Outfitters specialized in modifying H1 Hummers for the Border Patrol, DEA, military, and private enthusiasts some of who used them on long range excursions. This particular vehicle was used to demonstrate all of the upgrades offered by American Outfitters 3 pages of which are shown in the photo gallery. In 2001 the engine was updated to the 6.5L Detroit Diesel w/turbo charger, 4 speed automatic transmission, and transfer case by AM General. These items have less than 10,000 miles on them. This also has a 28 gallon auxiliary fuel tank giving this vehicle about a 1,000 mile range, a 30 gallon water tank and heat exchanger with shower fixture. 5 new Toyo R/T Open Country 37x12.5xR17LT tires were just installed and aligned.
